A Snapshot of January

Clayton with a rainbow colored chin, this is from someone at Superkids giving her M&M's. :)
Brian doing a little activity with the kids, he is so good about spending time with them.
It is those foam capsule things that turn into animals, insects, whatever.
This is part of the new peice of furniture in our bedroom, a little gross, but kind of neat at the same time. Yes, those are actual deer hooves.
Brian's new gun case. He and his dad built this while we were in Kansas. It is nice. I am so glad my husband is so talented and creative. He can build just about anything. :)

January is a nice month, it is the start of a new year. It is almost refreshing. I love to start my spring cleaning in January. For some reason I love cleaning and organizing and January is perfect for that. You wouldn't know it to look at my cluttery house right now, but I am a little behind on some laundry and I am in the process of reorganizing a few areas, so my house is messy. I also think it is a good time for taking a mental and spiritual inventory of things that are a little cluttered and need to be cleaned our or just reorganized a little. Lately I have been doing a personal study about Christians and how we should act towards each other and how we should act towards people who are not believers. Anyway. The point of the study is to question every preconception I have about certian verses in the Bible and reconsider what the true meaning of those scriptures is, with the ultimate purpose to make sure that I am treating people right. Anyway, I encourage all of you to reconsider what you believe. Don't just believe something or think you know something because that is the way you were raised or that is what your church teaches. To find who you truly are you must find out why you believe what you believe. Take time for personal study in the Bible.
